We are building a connected, compassionate community that responds with action, resources, and heart—ensuring that babies, children, and families have the support they need to not only get through difficult moments… but come out stronger.

Through emergency response, education, and community-driven care, we are helping create a future where preparedness, resilience, and kindness lead the way.

💛 Our Purpose

The BCA Hub was built from a lifelong calling to serve others.

Founder Tricia Ponicki began her journey over two decades ago, advocating for homeless women and children and supporting families through times of crisis. What started as “Ponicki’s Angels” grew into something bigger—a mission to fill the gaps where help is often missing.

That’s where The BCA Hub comes in.

We are proud to be what we call a “Gap Filler”—showing up when families don’t know where else to turn.

No child.
No family.
No individual in crisis…
should ever feel forgotten.

We are working toward opening a permanent home for our mission:

A warm, welcoming space designed to serve families year-round.

This future space will provide:

✨ A clothes closet, food pantry, and essential supply hub
✨ Youth programs focused on leadership and life skills
✨ A safe, positive environment filled with creativity, connection, and opportunity

The BCA Hub is based in Illinois and serves all communities across the state, with the ability to respond beyond when disasters call.

We are currently operating through community spaces, events, and mobile response efforts as we work toward securing a permanent location.
