Our Mission

At The BCA Hub Youth & Resource Center, our mission is to support, empower, and unite communities before, during, and after emergencies.

Founded in 2018 by Tricia Ponicki, The Hub serves as a grassroots, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to emergency response, disaster relief, and preparedness training.

We provide individuals, families, and youth with the skills, resources, and education needed to stay safe, resilient, and ready when crises strike. From distributing essential supplies and coordinating relief efforts to teaching lifesaving skills and youth leadership training, our goal is simple — to build stronger, more prepared communities across Illinois and beyond.

Together, we respond with compassion, lead with courage, and ensure that no one is left behind.
